Sportlex is an on line Journal dedicated to sport scientific research (http://ww.sportlex.net /also .it-.eu). The Journal is registered at the Court of Pescara (n. 16/07 - 08.11.2007) and at the Register of communications operators, furthermore it has the ISNN Code (1973-3429 - on-line). The Journal’s Editorial Board is composed of a Scientific Board, made up of university professors, and of a Managing Board, made up of experts in various fields of sport research and professionals from well-known sport institutions and organizations. The Journal Director, dr. Stefano Oronzo, and the Scientific Board manage and supervise the quality of the Journal in terms of academic progress, societal impact, access to authors and subjects, acceptance of manuscripts, organisation of special issues, and the admittance of new Members. The goals of the Journal are to maintain high standards for the articles published and to contribute to contribute to development of sport research. The journal also encourages studies about Sport and Disability and promotes initiatives in this field, such as for example the Endurance Trophy, that is a go karting competition, recognized by CSAI (Italian Motor Sport Commission), in which “normal” and disabled drivers compete side by side. The journal is visited by at least 13.000 persons per year from all over the world and foreign visitors are over 50 percent (from United States, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Bulgaria and so on). Published quarterly in March, June, September, and December, Sportlex is open to researchers of sport. It is an open access Journal, and no subscription is required to access the articles, which are published in .pdf format. The digital edition of Sportlex may be required at redazione@sportlex.net.
